For some time now, Christians in the West have been hearing about the rapid growth of the Christian faith in China. We've heard evangelicals in particular are seeing much fruit from their evangelistic endeavors in "underground" churches, but have you heard what flavor of evangelical is doing so well? While Pentecostalism is often named as the fastest growing Christian movement abroad, a recent Guardian article reports of the success of Calvinism in China, particularly among university students and professors.
It seems Chinese youth and intellectuals find Calvinism gives the best answers to the questions they're asking. For those of us who believe Calvinism to be the most consistent expression of biblical Christianity, this is happy news! Our prayer is that they will find this site and others like it as they seek biblical guidance to inform and enliven their newfound faith.

What might a Christian East look like in fifty years, and how will the Reformed faith guide and direct its formation and growth? We'd love to hear your answers in the comments section. Also, feel free to let us know what you and your church are doing to reach China with the gospel.

I'm glad the doctrines of grace are being taught in China! Praise God for His mercy and grace!
